Evelyn O’Toole’s role as an advocate at Cancer Care West is to help communicate the services the organisation provides.
CCW have the capacity to help a great many more people and Evelyn’s role is to ensure that as many people as possible know that they can receive help here following a cancer diagnosis. This includes the patient themselves and their whole family including children.
CCW’s assistance is there during treatment, following treatment and includes supporting families who have lost loved ones from the disease.
The services are free of charge and are not means tested. There are no applications, no judgments, just help from people who understand what you are going through.
When you walk through the door of CCW, you gain access to an extensive help network. This network provides many valuable services to affected individuals and families – some of which are listed below.
